Terms of Service
Effective date: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the fyplab mobile application (the "App"), operated by Michael Ly ("fyplab," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
fyplab lets you submit links to short-form videos and receive AI-generated analyses, including transcripts, virality and hook scores, breakdowns, and remixed scripts. The App is a creative and educational tool.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Your account
You sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) with a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the video links you submit. By submitting a link, you represent that you have the right to analyze the associated content and that doing so complies with the terms of the platform it originates from (such as TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube) and with applicable law. You agree not to use the App to infringe others' rights, to process unlawful content, or to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
6. AI-generated content
Breakdowns, scores, transcripts, and remixed scripts are generated by automated AI systems and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or misattributions, including in transcription of names and facts. The App's output is provided for guidance and inspiration only. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on or publishing it. We make no guarantee that using the App will improve the performance of your own content.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the video links you submit and are responsible for how you use the outputs you generate. We own the App, its design, and its underlying technology. These Terms do not grant you any rights in fyplab's brand, software, or content beyond the right to use the App as intended.
8. Third-party platforms
fyplab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform. Those names are the property of their respective owners. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its outputs will be accurate or reliable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, fyplab and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
